I had a small group, a duo I recorded just using the Harrison. I can see how that makes sense, because the SSL is going to afford you much more options than the Harrison during mix down, that's when you really need the detail. Some guy on here does the opposite, track through a Harrison then mix on an SSL. At that point I was tracking through an SSL, because it's what was in the "bigger" studio, then mixed down on the Harrison, because the studio was small and cheaper. I first cut my teeth in an actual recording studio years back. Yeah, exactly, I think style of music does come into it.
